Location
The site is strategically located in a prominent position, adjacent to a the Travelodge and Costa Drive Thru and close to the Tesco Supermarket which is on the opposite side of New Bridge Road (A597). To the rear of the site is a residential area and the town centre is within 0.5mile. and Working Train Station is within 0.25mile.
The A597. links to the A596 which is the main A road northwards up the west Cumbrian Coast and also to the A595, the main A road to the south and Whitehaven. Workington lies approximately 30 miles southwest of Carlisle and 7 miles from the northwestern boundary of the Lake District National Park.
